As part of launching this network, we’ve conducted over two dozen one-on-one interviews with various Network members across the region. This includes commercial nurseries, Tribal Nations, conservation districts, restoration practitioners, federal and state agencies, and NGOs. We asked about their priorities, their challenges, what’s working, and what role a regional native plant network could play. During in-person meetings in 2026, we’ll build on the trends identified in these interviews.
We produced a summary of insights gained from the interviews that will serve to align network members on a shared vision of the region, its strengths, opportunities, and challenges. Click here to read the summary of What We Heard.
